Background:

Caitlin Turner was just your normal Paragon University student interning at the City Museum of Art, until one day the Circle of Thorns broke into the museum to summon a portal for their demon army. Cait sacrificed herself, saving a group of innocent people from the Circle's attack. In her dying breath, a beautiful goddess appeared before her, deeming her worthy of the power of the Valkyron, a god-like race of female warriors. A pair of mystical bracers flew from one of the exhibit collections to her body, where they latched onto her wrists, empowering her with this great power.

In a flash of light, Cait's fatal wounds were gone and there she stood, with a perfectly muscular and divine body. She turned to face these demonic entities, throwing devastating punches and crushing blows where she eventually defeated them with ease. Cait decided to join the heroes of Paragon City as Icon, the newly crowned champion of valor, hoping to learn more about the mysterious source of her powers.
