Chicago-born Allison Grace "Allie" Monet moved to Paragon City after an incident ended her career as a NYPD detective. She now makes her living as a bail bondsman, hunting deadbeat criminals for a living.
You are handed what appears to be a business card. On it, you can read:
|She always gets her man, or at least his monthly checks !|
|Your ex has lost your address?|
Your beau left you at the altar?
Your baby needs his daddy?
Certified Bail Bondsman and Bounty Hunter
Paragon City, R.I.
Allison Grace "Allie" Monet was born in Chicago's West Lakeview area, the daughter of distinguished Chicago P.D. Captain Howard Monet and of his wife Catherine. The Monets have ancestors of both French and Irish descent, and Allie comes from a long line of law-enforcement officers: both her father and grandfather worked for the Chicago P.D, and her great-great-grand-father was a lawman in the Old West at the end of the 19th century.
She graduated from the Chicago Police Academy before moving to New York City to join the N.Y.P.D., where she served for 18 months as a police officer before being promoted to detective. She resigned 5 years later, while working as a Detective Second-Grade assigned to the 12th precinct, after a traumatic experience indirectly caused the death of her partner.
She moved to Paragon City, where she opened her bail bondsman / bounty hunting business upon arrival.
Allie is normally easy-going and somewhat flirtatious, but she's not afraid to speak her mind, even if it upsets people. This trait has caused her trouble in the past with her superiors in the N.Y.P.D., and lost her a few clients in the bounty hunting business, but has earned her the respect of more than a few colleagues and teammates.
Allie is a skilled investigator, with several years of experience in police work.
Equipment & Training
Her weapons of choice are her twin vintage Smith & Wesson Model 29-1 Long Barrel (8 3/8 inch), which belonged to her grandfather when he was with the Chicago P.D.
She carries a Zero Tolerance Model 0350 Folding Knife, more as a cutting tool than as a hand-held weapon. She received basic training on its use for self-defense as part of the Chicago Police Academy's advanced classes. She also carries a Smith & Wesson 12" Compact Collapsible Baton for "crowd control".
She received basic hand-to-hand training at the Chicago Police Academy and followed seminars while with the N.Y.P.D. She keeps in good fighting shape by hitting the gym whenever she has time.
