Luke Henry Jameson is an FBSA operative tasked with providing missions, guidance, and field support to the many volunteer crimefighters of Paragon City.

Appearance

Luke is an adult, male, Caucasian human. Years of stress from his demanding career path has prematurely whitened his hair. He often keeps his hair a medium length, undercut, and parted in the middle. He keeps a cleanly maintained, short boxed beard. His signature outfit is described as an cloak and three piece suit. The cloak and coat are made of a mostly unsaturated greenish-brown fabric. His vest is made of a lighter-colored material than his coat. His pants and gloves are a charcoal grey fabric. In addition, he also wears a white dress shirt with a plum colored tie. All materials in his outfit are resistant to the weather, wear, and tear expected during his day to day operations.

Background

Luke Henry Jameson was born into an era of economic recessions, an end of the Cold War, and the beginning of the modern metahuman age. Luke came from a family of middle-class Americans struggling to cope with a changing world, and as a result, young Luke developed an early appreciation for independence, responsibility, and resourcefulness. These qualities would carry into his adult life, where at age 18, Luke would join the United States Coast Guard. After five years of active service, Luke would be recruited into a mysterious and unnamed international intelligence agency; a period of his life shrouded in a great deal of secrecy. In this time, Luke would become a capable covert operative serving the interests of global peace.

In 2002, during the Rikti Invasion of Earth, Luke reemerged into the public sphere and joined the Federal Bureau for Super-powered Affairs (FBSA), fulfilling a need for capable field operatives to support the super-powered heroes of Paragon City. Despite a bitter childhood and a career of easily-unappreciated work, Luke has shown surprising resilience against disillusion; where others may grow cold and jaded, Luke remained a source of inspiration and guidance for would-be crimefighters. In a way, joining the FBSA later in life allowed him to discover new values he didn't have before. The FBSA allowed him to develop a love of teaching, and an almost fatherly approach to mentorship.

In the present-day, Agent Luke Jameson is known for his remarkable patience and focus. Retirement looms on a distant horizon, where he looks forward to a peaceful life in the countryside. Over the years, time has made him slow to anger and rich in kindness. Though many regard him as a gentle-hearted individual, those that know his history and skillset know he's not to be underestimated on his age alone. His extensive training and conditioning has pushed back the ill-effects of old age, allowing him to remain nearly as lethal as he was in his prime.
