Name: Hell's Guardians
We walk among you, we eat at your restaurants, shop at your malls, breathe your air, we do not hide from you, we do not keep to the shadows, we do not hide in the corner of your eye, we are here, we are there and we are everywhere, for years we have fought for the safty of this world, for years we have given our lives so you could continue the pathetic existance you call a life, you whine, cry, fight among yourselves heedless of the very danger that seeks to destroy you, many of you think us devil worshipers, satanists, wicked people, simple because you don't like our name but you do not understand, your mind is closed and your eyes are shut to the truth, it is time to set the record straight.
It is in debate when life begins, some believe that life begins at conception, others believe life begins at birth, I don't think that when life begins is as important as WHERE life begins, that singular question "Are we alone" well the Rikti proved we were not, if life exists in space what about other places like the layers between space and time, the Circle of Thorns showed us that life exists in other dimensions, kind of reminds me of theology, philosophy and religion, does God exist, does the Devil? I know what my answer is but this is neither the time or place to debate our personal religious views.
Look around what do you see, you see the people of Paragon city hustling and bustling and rushing about on their various errands, you see the heroes fighting crime, villains breaking into the city bank, the Riots and demonstrations for something or other, is that all you see... I'll Tell you what I see.
I see darkness all around us, surrounding us lingering on the edge of samity, perception may dictate that there is nothing there but I tell you that is the trick, there is darkness and exil far beyond the narrow restricted perception of your mind and eyes, there is a darkness that seeks to devour everything in its path a wanting reckless hunger reaching for you it is then that we step in.
We are the Hell's Guardians and I am Helium 3 and I serve the Guardians, I say serve rather that say I am a member, I serve because I know what we stand for, I know why we are here and the job that we do... what job is that you wonder and ask, well I will tell you.
WE, the few, the courageous stand between you and the darkness that seeks to destroy you and all that you love, I only say you as a method to get the point across because this wreckless wanting hunger seeks to devour your world, your way of life, everything that surrounds you till not a single person remains, we the Hell's Guardians stand at the very gate to hell keeping that which resides within remains within and all that resided without remains without, yes the great war between good and evil is real, it is very real, hundreds of Hell's Guardians have fallen to the eternal death along the side of the angels you refuse to believe in, we fought along side demons, devils, witches anbd spirits of all kinds to keep your world safe, although I have only been in service for just a couple years, the Guardians have existed in one form or another holding the line in obscurity to make your world a safe place for you and the children for we so love the laughter of children.
